India’s T20 League: Watch free online

Written by By M’benga Akhaine, CNN

Sunday’s Indian Premier League match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad will be free to watch online. It follows several changes to the format of the action by governing body the Indian Premier League after plans to increase the tournament’s ticket prices came under fire.

The match will be the first for Hyderabad fans to watch on the official Tidal TV service for free, which provides a free-to-watch app for iOS and Android phones and tablets. The match will also be streamed on the official Twitter and Facebook pages of both teams.

Chennai Super Kings will be without one of its biggest stars, Indian batsman MS Dhoni, who will miss Sunday’s match after being rested from the match-day squad.

But with rumours swirling that billionaire Indian entrepreneur Mukesh Ambani is close to finalizing a deal to purchase a majority stake in the Chennai franchise, it is far from a case of Chennai being short of funds.

India’s Dinesh Karthik will take Dhoni’s place in the side.
